Requirements

3-5 years mechanical experience (quarry equipment knowledge a plus)
Ability to read electrical & hydraulic blue prints
Self-motivated
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; 100 lbs. occasionally
Detail oriented
Ability to adapt to varying work environment
Able to stand for long periods of time
Ability to use mechanical tools
Valid Driver License
Ability to read and use a tape measure

Responsibilities

Verify that tools and equipment are in proper working condition
Update & maintain all maintenance records
Repair all equipment including splitters, saws, loaders, wrappers, quarry trucks, trailers and forklifts
Perform welding, cutting, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fabrication
Provide feedback to supervisors and operators on improvement of PM tasks and maintenance operations
Order parts, tools and materials needed to repair and maintain equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical problems
