About The Position

Your day starts with a walkthrough of the plant floor. You check the maintenance queue, plan preventative work, and jump in when a machine calls for attention. One hour you’re diagnosing a PLC fault using ladder logic and making an HMI update; the next you’re completing a precision mechanical repair or fabricating a bracket to get a line back online safely and quickly.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial setting.
  • Self-motivated problem-solver with a strong work ethic and focus on quality.
  • Strong electrical and PLC manufacturing background; able to read ladder logic and program HMIs.
  • Must be able to complete and pass an electrical board and PLC programming hands-on assessment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing systems.
  • Mechanical, welding, and cutting capabilities.
  • Ability to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills, strong safety practices, and attention to quality.
  • Workbench and computer proficiency; confident using meters and taking measurements.
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • CPR and first aid training may be required.
  • Training in lockout/tagout, fall protection, PPE, and confined space.
  • Experience with Allen‑Bradley PLCs.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to restore equipment performance quickly and safely.
  • Execute preventative maintenance across production machinery to reduce downtime.
  • Perform mechanical repairs and fine adjustments to keep systems in spec.
  • Handle welding and fabrication with minimal direction.
  • Complete advanced electrical tasks required for safe maintenance operations.
  • Accurately enter work details and parts usage into the maintenance system in a timely manner.
  • Support additional maintenance tasks as needed.
