Industrial Maintenance Electrician — PLC & Drives
About The Position
Shape the heartbeat of our manufacturing lines Picture your day: you walk the floor, scan the HMI, and jump into action. A conveyor stalls—you trace the fault through ladder logic, validate 480V supply with your meter, and tune the VFD to bring the line back online. Later, you swap from diagnostics to preventive care—cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment to prevent tomorrow's downtime. In between, you interpret mechanical prints, PI&D drawings, and electrical schematics to keep A.C. and D.C. drive systems, PLCs, and motor controls running flawlessly.
Requirements
- Expertise spanning electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical controls and control theory (including Ohm's law).
- Proven manufacturing background and demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Strong troubleshooting ability and the confidence to work autonomously.
- Solid basic mechanical skills and an ability to interpret PI&D drawings.
Responsibilities
- Perform system troubleshooting and analysis across plant equipment and electrical systems.
- Carry out both large and small electrical repairs with speed and accuracy.
- Diagnose equipment issues in the plant, resolving complex electrical problems at their root.
- Work confidently with A.C. & D.C. drives, PLCs, and fundamental motor control circuits.
- Interpret schematics and electrical symbols to guide repairs and improvements.
- Execute cleaning, lubrication, and equipment adjustments as needed.
- Read and comprehend mechanical prints and technical data to support maintenance decisions.
