As an Industrial Maintenance Tech, you will enjoy these benefits: Attractive hourly rate - paid weekly Generous insurance package: medical starting at just $26/week, free dental option, prescription coverage, vision plan, and company-paid $25k life insurance policy Voluntary benefits: accident coverage, disability, critical illness, hospital plan, and more 401K with generous company match Time off with pay : 6 holidays, vacation (up to 3 weeks), sick time (40 hours per year) Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided 10 t-shirts and a hooded sweatshirt provided at no cost Availability of overtime Long term employment When you join us as an Industrial Maintenance Tech, the goal is simple: Perform and complete a variety of skilled work in the operation, maintenance, and repair of the facility’s property and plant utility systems Maintain, test, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair facilities, and mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment to ensure the highest reliability, proper performance, and safe operation Here is what we are looking for in our Industrial Maintenance Tech: Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and perform required maintenance and service Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment as necessary Thorough understanding of the use of tools Electrical and mechanical knowledge and skills are a must Good understanding of basic math Basic construction knowledge Ability to work well with others Ability to complete work in a timely manner More about your Industrial Maintenance Tech position: Perform spot checks on equipment to ensure proper working condition Service tools and equipment Assist with conveyor belt repairs, power train & bearing maintenance, motor, and gearbox replacement, fork truck maintenance Accurately and consistently change out parts Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication on all equipment Walk/stand, bend, kneel, and climb throughout shift Frequent reaching overhead Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions as needed Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties Perform other related duties as assigned Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and two years of technical, electrical, or mechanical experience; OR Completion of vocational or apprenticeship program Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Must have a full range of physical motion as required to properly operate manual and electric power tools Must have the balance necessary to work on scaffolding and roofs Will work in a variety of environments and weather with exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals in both indoor and outdoor construction Must be able to regularly lift up to 75 lbs. Pay Range: $22.00 - $30.00 Hourly Here’s when you will be working: This is a full-time career with Northeast Precast. The days and hours of work are Monday through Friday beginning at 7 AM and ending at approximately 3:30 PM. Overtime is expected to occur depending on project requirements. Requirements
