About The Position

Reporting to the Plant Engineer, the Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician I is responsible for improving plant equipment reliability by maintaining equipment in like-new condition and minimizing downtime. This role uses advanced maintenance knowledge to troubleshoot, repair, improve, and precision-install plant equipment while supporting maintenance excellence initiatives. This role also provides support for the Toppan Performance System (SPS), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and continuous improvement efforts across the facility.

Requirements

  • You have a high school diploma and formal technical training
  • You have 5+ years of recent manufacturing maintenance experience
  • You have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • You understand craft tools and proper applications
  • You have experience working on modern high-speed production equipment
  • You can work unsupervised and manage priorities independently
  • You have experience with technical documentation
  • You can read and understand pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics
  • You have strong troubleshooting ability
  • You communicate well across teams
  • You have manufacturing safety training and can help reinforce safe practices

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance tasks required to keep plant equipment operating in like-new condition
  • Troubleshoot equipment and systems to quickly identify root causes of failures
  • Repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, electrical, and robotic equipment
  • Improve equipment reliability through preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Precision install equipment using OEM specifications
  • Maintain strong lubrication practices and ensure proper lubrication is applied to machinery
  • Support TPM, SPS, and Maintenance Excellence initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvement
  • Read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and diagrams
  • Work independently to support uptime and production reliability
