About The Position

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Purpose: The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for executing preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on brewing equipment and facilities in a safe and organized manner. This position supports brewery operations from Monday-Friday, 8am – 4pm. While the focus of this position is the brewing equipment, our maintenance team are first responders to facilities, HVAC, and kitchen needs. Reports to: Engineering Manager Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Understanding of pumps, motors, valves, and control systems Experienced with Lock out tag out procedures and appropriate PPE Ability to read electrical drawings, building blueprints, and equipment manuals Willingness to take on unfamiliar and challenging situations Understand and troubleshoot electrical and controls equipment down to component level Understanding of industrial wastewater treatment sampling and reporting (preferred) 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance (preferred) TIG welding and metalworking (preferred) HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance (preferred) Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance on brewing equipment and contribute to the improvement of the preventative maintenance program Diagnose and repair brewing/packaging equipment Identify and perform improvement projects Inventory upkeep and documentation of critical spare parts on facility wide systems Communicate effectively with operators, management, and equipment manufacturers Record work performed in work order system Perform general facilities maintenance: plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting Prioritize and complete repair jobs in an unsupervised environment Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy items up to 60lbs, stand, squat, and work in hot or cold or humid environments for an extended period Availability for unplanned emergency repairs Physically and mentally able to work in tight spaces and in close quarters with others The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Requirements

  • Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
