What you'll do as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic: Work full-time, Monday through Thursday, 10 to 12-hour shifts. Perform regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns and keep production on track. Diagnose equipment malfunctions and complete mechanical repairs or adjustments. Conduct breakdown analysis to identify root causes and prevent recurrence. Upgrade production lines with new equipment and technology. Perform production line adjustments. Maintain general housekeeping standards in your work area. Document work schedules, repairs, and completed tasks. Work independently while managing assigned maintenance responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment (plastics industry preferred).
  • Experience with mechanical systems such as gearboxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, and bearings.
  • Able to read product manuals for equipment repairs, blueprints, and mechanical drawings, including hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Proven troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical breakdowns with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Reliable & Accountable: Shows up consistently, follows safety standards, and takes pride in doing quality work.
  • Team Player: Works well with others, communicates clearly, and supports a positive, safe work environment.
  • Active: Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and stay on the move throughout the shift in an industrial environment with exposure to heat and noise.
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics experience
  • Electrical installation

Nice To Haves

  • Basic electrical knowledge (starters, fuses, relays, contacts), electrical installation/troubleshooting, VFDs, PLCs/industrial automation, pneumatics and air compression, hydraulics, chiller systems, part sourcing/vendor relations, and preventative maintenance program tracking.
