Industrial Maintenance Mechanic PABCO® Gypsum, a division of PABCO® Building Products LLC, has provided quality gypsum board products and service for over 35 years. PABCO® Gypsum supplies a complete line of gypsum products for commercial and residential construction. The Newark, CA plant is currently accepting resumes for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. This position is responsible for general maintenance technician with mechanical and minor electrical skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Two (2) or more years related experience and/or training.
- Regular attendance is required
- Lift and/or move 60 pounds and more
Responsibilities
- Understanding and knowledge of complex, pneumatic and/or hydraulic processes.
- Perform routine and schedule maintenance on process equipment to maintain uptime.
- Fabrication as needed.
- Perform inventory existing parts and report use for reorder.
- Maintain work area according to plant standard for safety, efficiency and cleanliness.
- Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.
