About The Position

1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday Anoplate is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to perform daily Mechanical repairs and Preventive Maintenance Inspections of production and facility equipment including maintenance and project tasks. The Objective is to support and maintain smooth production operations, safety for all personnel and protection of the environment. In This Role You Will: Independently perform all types of mechanical repairs to process and facility equipment including troubleshooting of improperly functioning process equipment. Install new production equipment by both laying out and installing new or modifying existing tanks, plumbing and exhaust systems. Perform basic electric repairs to process equipment and lighting. Performs both mechanical and basic electrical preventive maintenance inspections on all types of facility equipment. Develop list of required material to complete assigned job, fill out purchase requisition and give to supervisor for purchase. Perform PMs of all difficulty. Demonstrate and train others as required on specific tasks Perform Tig welding on SS, steel, Alum, Titanium. Working knowledge of all fabrication tools and equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance or electrical experience
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to comprehend both verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to give simple verbal and written instructions to others
  • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers
  • Ability to prepare simple written reports
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Understanding of basic maintenance functions and/or surface painting.
  • Pre-employment drug testing and background screening required
