Results – Results matter for all of us. We're looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic II to join our team! In this role, you'll provide crucial maintenance support to our Engineering, Manufacturing, and Building/Grounds teams. You'll lead and participate in advanced tasks like production support, corrective and preventive maintenance, and equipment installations and modifications. With minimal supervision, you'll use your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems to keep our facility running smoothly and efficiently. Requirements

  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • 5+ years of related industrial mechanic experience.
  • Capable of advanced electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting.
  • Experience with HVAC, pumps, and motors.
  • Experience with sensors, automation, and in-line inspection.
  • Basic PC proficiency and familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, written)
  • Advanced shop mathematics to include Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry.
  • Experience with CMMS systems.
  • Capable of using machine shop equipment such as a mill, lathe, welder, belt sander, vertical bandsaw, drill press, etc.
  • Read and understand electrical schematics and documentation.
  • Read and understand basic PLC ladder logic.
  • Experience in reprogramming and transferring PLC programming for drives and controls.
  • The ability to lift, push and/or pull, up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of wearing a respirator while repairing or troubleshooting equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with filling and capping equipment in a chemical manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide maintenance support to Manufacturing to achieve the objectives of the company and department.
  • Install, maintain and repair manufacturing and building related equipment.
  • Follow and perform PM work from the Preventive Maintenance schedule.
  • Assist line personal in the setup, troubleshooting and adjustment of packaging equipment.
  • Perform work from assigned work orders.
  • Perform assigned tasks to support objectives of team, department and company.
  • Actively participate in Practical Process Improvement/5S/and other continuous improvement/lean projects.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures (safety, regulatory, etc.)
  • Organize, store, protect and maintain existing PLC programs.
