About The Position

Assist in installation and maintenance of conveyor belts (V-belts, timing, rough/smooth top, modular).
Help maintain chain drive systems, tensioners, and lubrication points.
Perform inspections and report worn or damaged parts.
Support hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance (valves, regulators, cylinders, filters, dryers).
Aid in preventive maintenance and lubrication tasks.
Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of common mechanical failures.
Learn to read and apply mechanical and hydraulic schematics.
Participate in team-based projects to improve equipment reliability.
Ensure all production equipment is operating properly & maintained to company standards.
Must be willing to work extended hours & weekends when needed.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools.
• Understanding of conveyor and chain drive systems.
• Introductory knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to safe work practices and procedures.
• Experience with replacing roller bearings.
• 0–2 years of industrial or mechanical maintenance experience.

Nice To Haves

• Welding/Fabrication, electrical experience, plumbing/HVAC & carpentry/construction.
• Technical training, apprenticeship, or coursework in mechanics preferred.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
