We are seeking a hands-on, floor-focused Industrial Maintenance Manager to lead and support our maintenance team in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role is approximately 80% on the floor and 20% administrative, working side-by-side with technicians to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production and fleet equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience (mechanical focus)
  • 2+ years electrical and/or millwright experience
  • Prior experience leading or supervising a maintenance team
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical drive systems, welding, power tools, and basic electrical work
  • Understanding of OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to lead by example
  • Ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a maintenance team of approximately 10 employees through hands-on, example-driven leadership
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and fluid power systems
  • Develop, implement, and drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Ensure equipment reliability, safety, quality, and compliance with OEM and OSHA standards
  • Manage maintenance records, work orders, and data entry in CMMS (Fiix)
  • Oversee parts inventory, critical spares, and specialty tools
  • Schedule maintenance work based on PM inspections and production needs
  • Hire, train, schedule, and develop maintenance staff; conduct team meetings at least twice weekly
  • Collaborate with other facilities and leadership to complete repairs and share best practices
  • Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
