About The Position

Our client in Rancocas, New Jersey is seeking a Industrial Machinist Mechanic to join their team! This is a DIRECT HIRE (not contract to hire) position with a well-established leading manufacturing company. This is a Full Time position, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. This position offers $25-35 per hour based on experience. This position will require frequent overtime on Saturdays.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 3 years' of experience in an Industrial Machinery Mechanic position
Must have prior experience with diversified mechanical, electro-mechanical assembly, and sub-assembly units that are moderately complex.
Must have knowledge about vacuums systems, induction furnaces and metal reclamation systems
Ability to read and understand blueprints and symbols
Basic computer skills required (Microsoft office/outlook)
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with a forklift, cherry picker and boom lift are preferred

Responsibilities

Adjust, fit and align specific tolerances
Use hand/power tools to trim, file, grind, buff and smooth surfaces, edges and/or joints to assemble parts
Set up and employ all fixtures
Using calculators, scribes, dividers, squares, and rulers, layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on material in accordance with drawings or blueprints.
Work from drawings and specifications.
Inspect and test completed units by utilizing measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, scales, and gauges.
