About The Position

Imagine a role where you're responsible for ensuring the efficiency of industrial machinery by taking charge of repairs and preventive maintenance. As part of this dynamic environment, your primary mission will be the upkeep of machinery and mechanical equipment. What You'll Do Dedicate yourself to maintaining a safe work environment. Conduct repairs and preemptive maintenance on machinery in an industrial setting. With your adept skills, handle assembling, installing, and testing electrical or electronic components and machinery. Troubleshoot and resolve issues using an array of hand tools and test equipment. Master the connection of wires to essential components like circuit breakers and transformers. Leverage your skills to calculate, lay-out, balance, and align critical equipment. Engage in rigging tasks and support safety protocols alongside other electrical duties. Fabricate mechanical parts from various metals to suit company requirements. Ensure all electrical components meet local and federal codes. Observe and adhere to company safety and quality standards at all times.

Requirements

  • Two years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Basic troubleshooting prowess with advanced processing equipment
  • A firm grasp of mechanical knowledge complemented by a self-starter attitude
  • Ability to align and monitor systems using laser equipment
  • Competency in predictive maintenance and pipefitting techniques
  • Proficient use of welding tools and oxyacetylene torch
  • Capability to work in diverse and challenging environments including rooftops and elevated platforms
  • Experience in the use of forklifts and high lifts safely
  • Programming know-how for Variable Frequency Drives
  • A knack for troubleshooting PLCs
  • Thorough understanding of electrical systems testing
  • Solid experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and a welding certification
  • Exceptional communication skills in English
  • A high school certificate or equivalent is ideal
  • Lift 20-50 lbs consistently during your shift
  • Endure extended periods of bending, standing, and twisting
  • Walk a substantial distance, up to 5 miles, throughout the shift
  • Clear vision of 20/30 with corrective measures
  • Precise hand-eye coordination for complex tasks

  • Fluency in electrical troubleshooting
  • Experience in CNC machine maintenance
