Industrial Machine Technician – 2nd Shift Santa Ana, CA | $25.00 – $35.00/hour | Full-Time | Employee-Owned Company Are you a mechanically minded problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced production environment? We serve a wide range of Fortune 500 companies in the financial, banking, insurance and billing industries—and we’re looking for a skilled Industrial Machine Technician to join our 2nd shift team in Santa Ana, CA . What You’ll Do As an Industrial Machine Technician, you’ll help keep our production floor running smoothly by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of industrial sized mailing and digital printing machines. This is a hands-on role where your mechanical and electrical know-how and attention to detail will directly support the success of our high-volume operations.

Requirements

  • 2 + years of experience as a machine technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills.
  • A working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Must communicate well with others and be able to read technical manuals and diagrams
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; technical training or certification is a bonus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a print and mail production environment is a major plus.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust mechanical and electronic failures using schematics, manuals, and procedures.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out and anti-static procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, time spent, and parts used.
  • Collaborate with production and inventory teams to prioritize repairs and maintain equipment readiness.
  • Diagnose issues and perform routine maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical and electronic components, including circuits and wiring, motors (servo, AC/DC brush and brushless), drive and feed belts, chains, gears and bearings, pulleys, brakes, clutches, vacuum pumps and compressors, photosensors, pneumatic hoses, fittings, and solenoids.
