We're expanding our Industrial Hygiene team and seeking a talented Certified Industrial Hygienist professional to join our global organization.   • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years work experience in an environmental, health, and safety related field, with at least 4 years in industrial hygiene
  • Working knowledge and experience with chemical safety, hazard communication, noise, thermal stress, and air quality
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel (eg. VLookup, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Strong technical writing skills and ability to orally communicate complex IH concepts to non-technical audiences
  • 8+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
  • Bachelor's degree, or BS degree

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Safety Professional
  • Master’s degree from an accredited US university, or international university of equivalent standard in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety or related field
  • Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
  • Experience working in industrial, transportation, or distribution center/warehouse operations
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability

Responsibilities

  • Lead IH Programs: Support and advance industrial hygiene programs for business unit partners across multiple geographies and risk areas, providing expert guidance to field operations
  • Manage Complex Risk Programs: Own the full lifecycle of cross-functional risk programs, from strategy development through implementation and continuous improvement
  • Drive Risk Reduction: Define risk program objectives, support implementation of controls, and drive measurable improvements in your risk area (e.g., increased compliance, wider control adoption, automation)
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with Workplace Health and Safety Field Operations, Environment, Operations, Disaster Recovery, Legal, and other stakeholders in a matrixed organization
  • Influence & Execute: Work with internal and external legal teams, policy owners, and regulators to interpret laws, regulations, and business policies; oversee rollout of controls and audits
  • Represent the Organization: Present risk management programs to internal partners, senior leaders, external audit firms, regulators, and potentially at industry association meetings
  • Contribute to Strategic Planning: Support the strategic business planning process and own organizational goals related to your risk program
  • Measure Impact: Define and track metrics that quantify program effectiveness and risk reduction
