About The Position

The Worldwide Industrial Hygiene is looking for an Industrial Hygiene Program Manager. This Program Manager will help develop and deploy mechanisms to ensure global regulatory compliance. Amazon's Worldwide Industrial Hygiene (WWIH) team protects employee health by managing workplace hazards. They identify, evaluate, and control chemical, physical, and biological risks through data-driven assessments and innovative solutions. As subject matter experts, they ensure global regulatory compliance while providing guidance, tools, and education to stakeholders. Their work focuses on preventing occupational illnesses and injuries through proactive risk management and scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Industrial Hygiene and program management
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and business operations
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and manage competing priorities
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies
  • Track record of successful project delivery and risk management
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Responsibilities

  • Lead Industrial Hygiene compliance initiatives and program development
  • Partner with stakeholders across various departments to deliver strategic projects
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and risk mitigation
  • Drive process improvements using methodologies like Agile, Lean, or Kaizen
  • Oversee program communications and documentation
  • Develop and track KPIs and success metrics
