About The Position

Step into a day as our Industrial Field Service Mechatronics Technician You arrive on site, review the service history, and observe a critical machine under load to pinpoint the root cause of a fault. You isolate the issue, disassemble the mechanism to access the failing component, adjust controls, replace parts, and validate the fix. Before you leave, you log everything in the service report and the customer’s maintenance system, then brief their team on preventive steps. What you’ll do Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment by observing operation, identifying root causes, and executing break/fix tasks across electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems. Disassemble assemblies to remove defective components; align, adjust, and calibrate functional parts and control instruments; repair or replace parts and reassemble for production-ready operation. Independently carry out maintenance to industry standards with minimal oversight, collaborating closely with customer teams on reliability and PM procedures. Operate machine tools such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and similar equipment to fabricate or rework parts; perform basic welding as needed. Adhere to customer site rules, contractor conduct expectations, housekeeping practices, and safety processes at all times. Document findings, actions taken, and parts used in detailed service reports and applicable maintenance/asset systems. Use industrial control system interfaces and diagnostic routines to analyze complex equipment issues and restore functionality. Apply strong electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic/pneumatic knowledge to troubleshoot effectively. Pursue on-the-job learning and self-directed technical study to expand your skill set. Model safety-first behaviors: follow policies, maintain situational awareness, and proactively identify unsafe conditions.
