Check us out! www.mccartyequipment.com We are currently seeking a Warehouse/Fabricator Worker for our McCarty Equipment - Williston, ND branch. This position will assist in all areas of the shop including fabrication of hoses and related product.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent (GED) required
- Basic computer skills required
- Must be able to use a tape measure and understand basic math (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Screening.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of prior mechanical experience in an industrial or automotive shop environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Industrial and hydraulic hose area with basic duties such as hose banding and crimping, roll, cut or test hoses.
- Participate in Clean shop and safety regulations.
- Participate in counting inventory for cycle counts and maintain stock (i.e., tag, stack, sort, keep organized).
- Clean equipment and all shop areas.
- Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming goods to verify receipt of items against shipping notice, records and checks quantity and quality of goods received for conformity to purchase orders and specifications.
- May inspect, accept, or reject goods received.
- Input stock items into computer and store in the assigned location in or around the warehouse.
- Stock the counter area, take counter sales orders, and builds relationships with our customers and associates; resolves customer problems promptly and accurately in a manner that will retain and promote customer loyalty.
- Accurately picks will call and/or counter orders; ensures will call and/or counter orders are ready when the customer arrives.
- Load and unload product and deliveries as needed.
