About The Position

BearCat has what YOU are looking for! We're a growing, family-owned manufacturer of road maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation equipment – and we want YOU to be part of our team! As a Fabricator at BearCat, you will assemble, and fabricate parts to form complete units or sub-assemblies. You'll work closely with engineering and production teams to build high-quality road maintenance equipment.
Requirements
- Experience with welding and fabrication (on-the-job training available)
- Ability to read and understand precision measuring tools
- General knowledge of assembly techniques, welding tools, and equipment
Nice To Haves
- Blueprint reading experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate metalworking machines and hand tools to assemble parts and components
- Wire electrical controls and run piping as needed for product lines
- Perform quality welds and assemblies per engineering specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and verbal instructions
- Set up and lay out work using jigs, fixtures, or hand layouts
- Inspect and correct welds to ensure quality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
