We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft. This position is onsite in Fort Worth, Texas. Industrial Engineering We have an opening for an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our Industrial Engineering - Projects team in Fort Worth, TX. This highly collaborative position will partner with Operations, Programs, Facilities, Engineering, and outside vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or other Engineering disciplines required.
  • 5+ years experience in industrial engineering required. Preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in AutoCAD or CAD equivalent (Catia, 3DX, Enovia, Delmia) preferred.
  • SAP experience, Project Management experience, and Factory Simulation experience preferred.
  • Ability to interact with a wide range of technical fields and manufacturing disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning and optimization of facilities and equipment, ensuring alignment with capital investment strategies to support operational efficiency and long-term growth.
  • Design and implement factory layouts and workflows that maximize productivity, minimize waste, and adhere to lean manufacturing principles, driving continuous improvement across operations.
  • Conduct detailed assessments of man, machine, and tool capacities while forecasting labor requirements to meet production demands and ensure resource availability.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases to support decision-making and lead cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Able to self-initiate tasks and courses of action to develop scope of work, resource estimates, progress metrics, and communication cadence for overall project management to meet mission critical objectives.
  • Create impactful presentations to communicate findings and recommendations while supporting various industrial engineering functions as needed to address organizational challenges.
  • Assist in the design of an Industry 4.0 manufacturing factory that optimizes total cost, throughput, & first pass yield for flight critical products.
