Role Overview: As the Continuous Improvement Manager at TES, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiencies and driving excellence across our business aviation services. Your primary focus will be to lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives that align with TES’s strategic goals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, develop and execute improvement plans, and ensure sustainable results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related roles, preferably in the aviation or aerospace industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in continuous improvement tools and methodologies, including value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and statistical analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Lucid Charts, ITIL, and Alatassin Suite is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy aligned with TES’s vision and business objectives. Lead the deployment of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other best practices to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence throughout the organization.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvements across all areas of the business, including Engines & APU MRO, Rental, and OEM Parts distribution. Conduct thorough analyses of existing processes, using data-driven approaches to uncover inefficiencies and areas for enhancement. Develop and implement improvement plans, including timelines, resources, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Project Management: Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process changes, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring alignment with budgetary and resource constraints.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on continuous improvement methodologies and tools. Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills in process improvement and foster a culture of ongoing development. Create and maintain documentation of processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze data and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations for further improvements. Ensure sustainability of improvement efforts by implementing control mechanisms and conducting regular audits.
