The Industrial Engineer is a key personnel position providing engineering expertise to optimize production processes, quality control systems, and material flow operations at the Fleet Consolidated Sustainment Facility (FCSF) and production facility supporting Navy Chemical Biological Defense (CBD), Damage Control/Firefighting (DC/FF), and Anti-Terrorism Afloat (ATA) life support systems. This position designs, develops, tests, evaluates, and implements integrated systems for managing contract performance requirements, including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics, material flow, cost analysis, production coordination, and fleet readiness support. The engineer applies statistical methods and mathematical analysis to maximize the efficiency of warehouse operations, maintenance activities, inspection processes, and distribution functions that support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division's mission to protect Navy personnel from extreme environmental threats.
