Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.

Nice To Haves

• Passing score on the Professional Engineering (PE) exam or the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage workers and the machinery present in manufacturing unit.
• Devise efficient systems that integrate workers, machines, materials, information, and energy to make a product or provide a service.
• Design, develop and maintain manufacturing routes to maximize effectiveness, efficiency and space.
• Review production schedules, engineering specification, process flows, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services.
• Develop management control systems to make financial planning and cost analysis more efficient.
• Design control systems to coordinate activities and production planning to ensure that product meets quality standards.
• Enact quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs.
• Confer with clients about product specification, vendors about purchases, management personnel about manufacturing capabilities, and staff about the status of project.
