Are you looking for a rewarding job?  Join our team as an Industrial Engineering Technician (IE Tech) on the HF Comm & Tacair Team in Cedar Rapids, IA, where you'll apply Collins build, inspections, sell, & repair knowledge and analysis tools to drive transformative changes in manufacturing operations. Your focus will be on improving product quality, reducing costs, and optimizing production flow, contributing directly to our team’s efficiency and competitiveness. This role offers a blend of independent initiative and teamwork, collaborating closely with manufacturing engineers, production personnel, management, and support organizations. Located onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our operational excellence and innovation. Requirements

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in electronics and manufacturing

Nice To Haves

  • Strong soldering skills

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing processes including: work sequence, work instructions, procedures, and work flow
  • Conduct studies on standard timings and provide analysis for productivity
  • Execute engineering changes using Run & Hold process
  • Create, discuss, and lead change control tasks/tickets
  • Manage moderately sized projects or processes
  • Collaborate with support team to solve complex problems
  • Develop plans to manage day-to-day challenges
  • Some travel to local Iowa reginal sites
