Our commitment to pay range transparency fosters an equitable workplace, where everyone can feel valued. The annual compensation range for this position is stated below. The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range: $112,600.00 - $169,000.00 Purpose Statement: Leverage engineering expertise and analytical skills to optimize manufacturing processes at Plexus, fostering continuous improvement and cost reduction. Through collaboration with teams across the organization, strive to enhance productivity, quality, and safety, ultimately contributing to Plexus's commitment to delivering customer satisfaction and building a better world.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or science is required; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher is preferred.
  • Minimum Ten (10) years of related experience is required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
  • Intermediate Computer Skills
  • Advanced Decision Making, Problem Solving Skills
  • Advanced Verbal and Written Communications Skills
  • Excellent Analytical and statistical analysis Skills; Statistical Process Control Software Skills
  • In-depth Cross-Discipline Development Knowledge
  • Strong understand Structured Design
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers

  • Lab tool/ test/measurement equipment experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Is visible and recognized in all Manufacturing Sites as a Subject Matter Expert of their engineering discipline; and/or is visible and recognized in all Manufacturing Sites as a cross-discipline development leader for product/ process development, process/ product improvement or troubleshooting within site/ region, as it applies to their role.
  • Serves as a technical and/or project team lead, providing technical guidance/ training and motivation for teams, controlling scope, schedule, budget and ensuring overall technical success on mid-size to large Plexus Manufacturing Processes, as it applies to their role.
  • Supports continuous improvement activities with wider impact than own site, associated with their engineering discipline and/or project execution-focused efforts, as it applies to their role.
  • Provides customer service leadership by establishing positive and productive customer communications during technical/project discussions, developing innovative architectures and solutions to meet customer needs (internal/ external customer), and supporting business continuity engagements and new proposal creation.
