This position is for an Industrial Engineer supporting F-35 Aircraft Final Finishes. This role will be responsible for the integration of functional Industrial Engineering solutions in the F-35 Aircraft Final Finishes area in shop floor support and by analyzing and developing production plans, creating and monitoring production health metrics, and continuous improvement activities. Individual will strive to enhance all production related activities through the use of automation techniques and a variety of software. Individual may have opportunities to perform as project manager. Will work closely with Industrial Engineering, Production Management, and a variety of Production support functions. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Experience applying Industrial Engineering principles in industry, which could include, production scheduling, manufacturing/labor estimating, or capacity/resource planning.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience with analytical and project planning tools and software, including MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with statistical analysis (regression analysis, statistical process control, R, Python, Tableau, etc.).
  • Experience with database operations (data mining, SQL statements).
  • Experience Working with Business Objects (BO) and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
  • Experience with Assembly EVMS Processes.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Certification (Black Belt, Green Belt, PDCA/ 5s/ 6s, etc.) or experience applying Lean manufacturing principles & implementing continuous improvements

Responsibilities
