Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Nice To Haves

Electronics Manufacturing experience.
Experience with programing equipment and factory layouts.

Responsibilities

Participate in cross-functional team efforts to yields, production throughput, equipment capacity, and overall product Quality.
Identify defect trends and perform root cause analysis.
Implement corrective actions to resolve.
Analyze performance and reliability of existing production equipment and establish programs and solutions for decreasing downtime.
Program and optimize program peformance of equipment, ensure TPMs and PMs are created and available
Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for accurate staffing and identify new and optimized approaches that will minimize production staffing needs and capital requirements.
Select and order capital equipment using sound cost/payback analysis.
Generate and track Appropriation Requests.
Improve existing fixtures and equipment needed to improve performance.
Support efforts to conduct R&R efforts on new test solutions to verify consistent product and equipment performance.
Drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple assembly process steps
Analyze and understand factory needs and requirements.
Conduct Process Flow analysis and make improvements.
Develop tools that enable manufacturing or increase production rates.
Implement Procedure and process improvements based on safety, quality, and productivity.
Improving production facilities and equipment layouts
PFMEA analysis and implementation of actions.
