Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Nice To Haves

  • Electronics Manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with programing equipment and factory layouts.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-functional team efforts to yields, production throughput, equipment capacity, and overall product Quality.
  • Identify defect trends and perform root cause analysis.
  • Implement corrective actions to resolve.
  • Analyze performance and reliability of existing production equipment and establish programs and solutions for decreasing downtime.
  • Program and optimize program peformance of equipment, ensure TPMs and PMs are created and available
  • Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for accurate staffing and identify new and optimized approaches that will minimize production staffing needs and capital requirements.
  • Select and order capital equipment using sound cost/payback analysis.
  • Generate and track Appropriation Requests.
  • Improve existing fixtures and equipment needed to improve performance.
  • Support efforts to conduct R&R efforts on new test solutions to verify consistent product and equipment performance.
  • Drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple assembly process steps
  • Analyze and understand factory needs and requirements.
  • Conduct Process Flow analysis and make improvements.
  • Develop tools that enable manufacturing or increase production rates.
  • Implement Procedure and process improvements based on safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Improving production facilities and equipment layouts
  • PFMEA analysis and implementation of actions.
