Your Impact As an Industrial Engineer I, you will support manufacturing operations by analyzing production processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and workflow. You will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams to collect data, analyze processes, and assist in implementing process improvements that enhance operational performance. This role focuses on developing foundational industrial engineering skills while contributing to operational improvement initiatives. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
  • 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
  • Core knowledge of industrial engineering principles (time studies, workflow analysis, process improvement)
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with simulation software
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
  • Conduct time studies, work measurement, and data collection to support operational improvement initiatives
  • Support line balancing and labor utilization analysis
  • Assist with manufacturing layout updates and workspace optimization
  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to develop and improve standard work
  • Support capacity analysis and production planning activities
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Execution and Manufacturing Engineering to implement process improvements
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Assist with standard cost reviews and ERP system updates
  • Partner with Operations Program Management to support the introduction and acceptance of new equipment into the factory
