About The Position

The Industrial Engineer II independently leads process improvement and automation initiatives within warehouse and manufacturing environments. This role is responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing scalable operational solutions that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required with 2+ years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity. with the provision of SE services for physical security system and IT solutions.
  • Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills.
  • Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
  • Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
  • Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
  • Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
  • Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
  • Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
  • Identify and understand the speech of another person.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process mapping, value stream mapping, and workflow redesign initiatives.
  • Design and implement warehouse automation solutions (robotics, AGVs/AMRs, pick-to-light, automated storage systems, etc.).
  • Develop labor models, capacity models, and ROI analyses for capital investments.
  • Conduct advanced time studies and establish labor standards.
  • Optimize facility layouts, material flow, and work cell design.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to execute process improvements.
  • Manage small to mid-sized capital projects.
  • Develop KPIs and performance dashboards to monitor operational performance.
  • Train operations personnel on new tools, systems, and standardized processes.
