What we offer · Medical coverage with BCBS · Dental, Vision, Short & Long Term Disability and Group Life Insurance with Principal · As a benefit to our employees, we also offer supplemental policies with Aflac and Legal/ID Shield. · 80 hours vacation a year + 48 hours of sick time; vacation does increase over time · 401K with company match after 1st 90 days · Opportunity for profit sharing bonuses & employee referral bonuses · Free Virtual Doctor appointments with Ally Health Responsibilities : · Ensure that all electrical components are safe working order and well maintained · Plans the layout, installation, and repair wiring of electrical fixtures, motors, apparatus and control equipment · Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, circuitry, control panels, fixtures, motors, and equipment in accordance with national Electrical Code specifications · Performs systematic electrical and electronic troubleshooting · Responsible for major repair, maintenance, and installation of all machinery in assigned area · Assist in any number of maintenance activities including machine repair and installation of new equipment · Orders parts and supplies and assists in assessment of new machinery and equipment needed · Plans for new and modified installation consistent with specifications of electrical codes · Receives information from plant manager about: work order requests, safety requirements, PLC programming needs, preventive maintenance instructions and manuals · Inform the plant manager about: equipment problems, PLC program input/output, safety concerns, procurement of spare parts and tools · Works with PLCS and to some extent can program the PLC under the direction of the plant manager · Any other duties that the Company in its sole discretion may assign as needed

Requirements

  • High School diploma / GED, required
  • Completed associate’s degree/ bachelor’s degree/technical degree in manufacturing, engineering, electrical technology, or other related area or has completed requirements for certified/licensed Electrician and is in active good standing
  • 2-10 years’ experience working on electrical components in an industrial setting and general machine maintenance experience
  • Previous experience working with and to some extent programming PLCs, wiring electrical components and running conduit cabling
  • Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
  • This position requires, but is not limited to, standing, walking, utilizing stairs or ladders, driving automatic forklift, climbing, squatting, stooping, twisting, bending, grabbing and grasping.
  • Must be able to work in a non-controlled environment

Nice To Haves

  • Current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification, preferred
  • Previous experience in maintenance in a plastics/textile manufacturer, preferred
