Job Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS: Support our customer – Press Shop Troubleshoot of production and non-production equipment Troubleshoot and program of Siemens S5 and S7 PLC’s, Beckhoff PC based controls and other PLC and control systems. Troubleshoot robot / robot controllers and perform teach-ins on new jobs as required Troubleshoot of servo drives and other drive controllers Repair and maintain press shop equipment Implement continuous improvements Perform daily checks and preventative maintenance Work on press shop projects as needed Check, maintain and install of electrical components on our production dies Optimize presses and automation to improve cycle time Keep equipment assigned in clean, safe, good working conditions POSITION REQUIREMENTS PHYSICAL DEMANDS 80% Standing and walking 10 % Sitting 10% Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, or balancing Work may be done near moving mechanical or hydraulic operated parts, or on occasion in precarious places, which may involve work in elevated locations, confined spaces and around fumes or airborne particles; there may be the risk of electrical shock and vibrations. PPE such as hearing protection, safety glasses and the adherence to the lockout tag out policy is mandatory Work at heights above 30 feet Rotating shifts (1, 2, 3) or permanent off shifts. Overtime based on customer requirements. EDUCATION: Journeyman Electrician / Electronic degree from a recognized, accredited year college, or equivalent combination of education and experience or the completion of an electrical / electronic type apprenticeship program Industrial Electrical / Electronic apprentice trade certificate. Requirements

  • Journeyman Electrician / Electronic degree from a recognized, accredited year college, or equivalent combination of education and experience or the completion of an electrical / electronic type apprenticeship program
  • Industrial Electrical / Electronic apprentice trade certificate.
  • Siemens Step5 and Step7 PLC programming certificate
  • Beckhoff TwinCat programming certificate
  • Pilz safety PLC training certificate
  • Fanuc training certificate
  • Must be able to work with minimum to no supervision

Responsibilities

  • Support our customer – Press Shop
  • Troubleshoot of production and non-production equipment
