The Industrial Electrician role is a critical position within the manufacturing plant, with safety as the top priority, adhering to accident prevention policies and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. The position involves the safe installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical components. Key responsibilities include maintaining, testing, and repairing AC/DC motors and motor control systems, as well as developing skills to troubleshoot advanced control systems and instrumentation equipment, including PLC controls. The electrician will also be responsible for interpreting and using wiring schematics, operating electrical test equipment, and understanding and complying with NEC codes and NFPA-70E standards, performing all other electrician duties inherent to a manufacturing environment.
