About The Position

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN (3RD SHIFT) - CARROLLTON, TX Shift Hours = 10 PM - 6 AM OVERVIEW: The Electrician is responsible for performing basic electrical maintenance and repair tasks. This role supports the maintenance team in ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical systems and equipment. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks, such as replacing fuses, bulbs, and wiring, under the guidance of senior electricians. Diagnose and repair electrical issues, such as short circuits, faulty wiring, and control panel malfunctions, using technical manuals and schematics. Support Preventative Maintenance Technicians in completing electrical PM tasks as needed. Conduct visual inspections of electrical systems to identify wear, damage, or potential hazards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols, GMP, and food safety regulations. Document maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and time spent, in the CMMS. Assist in the installation, setup, and testing of new electrical equipment. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in an electrical maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, and equipment. Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Requirements
