About The Position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of electrical
systems and equipment in an industrial environment. This includes installing new electrical systems,
troubleshooting and repairing existing systems, and performing preventive maintenance to minimize
downtime.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 480-Power Knowledge and PIC knowledge

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience in similar position
• Bilingual English/Spanish language skills is a plus

Responsibilities

• Installation: Install, repair and maintain electrical concepts, systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout and installation of wiring, equipment and fixtures.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical problems in industrial machinery and equipment, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Identify and mitigate electrical hazards.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure their longevity and prevent potential breakdowns.
• Equipment Calibration: Calibrate and maintain industrial equipment to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance and operations personnel to coordinate electrical work in conjunction with other maintenance activities.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, repairs and maintenance activities. Document any changes made to electrical systems.
• Upgrades and Modifications: Participate in upgrading or modifying electrical systems to improve efficiency, reliability and performance.
• Emergency Response: Respond to emergency calls for electrical repairs and provide prompt solutions to minimize production downtime.
