About The Position

LeClaire Manufacturing is looking for an experienced electrician to support our Aluminum Foundry production environment. Position Overview: The Electrician – Level II will be responsible for conducting electrical installations, maintenance, and complex repairs. This role requires a skilled individual with a thorough understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work independently. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; electrical trade school or apprenticeship completion strongly preferred.
Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and safety standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Continuous learning and adaptability to keep up with evolving technologies.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician in an industrial or commercial setting.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret complex electrical diagrams and schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Valid electrician's license or certification as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

Perform skilled electrical work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
Ensure all electrical work meets industry standards and complies with safety regulations.
Work on projects independently and make decisions based on expertise and experience.
Provide guidance and support to Level 1 Electricians and other junior staff.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Foster a positive work environment and culture.
Maintain effective communication with company leadership, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Contribute to business strategy and vision.
