About The Position

Seeking an Outside Sales Representative with a strong foundation in electrical engineering for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Tampa, FL. Our client is one of the fastest-growing industrial electrical service contractors in the nation, known for delivering high-quality transformer maintenance, electrical testing, electrical construction and distribution system solutions. This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and performance-based incentives! Salary is between $90,000 - $120,000 per year (based on experience)

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (preferred) or equivalent technical experience.
Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
Self-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through regular field visits and consultations.
Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions for electrical services and products.
Prepare and present professional proposals, quotes, and scopes of work during client meetings.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility of solutions.
Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and post-sale support.
Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to position the company as a trusted partner.
Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to expand market presence.
