Assemble parts and subassemblies on progressive lines following documented standard work. Read and apply method sheets, assembly diagrams, and blueprints/print drawings to determine materials, dimensions, and sequencing. Use pneumatic and hand tools; verify accuracy with tape measures, levels, calipers, and micrometers. Spot defects and unsafe conditions; keep your area clean and compliant. Perform brazing, soldering, operating machines/presses, hanging/unhanging parts, and executing quality checks and tests. Handle material movement—load/unload, operate forklifts and hoists. Maintain tools/equipment; submit repair work orders when needed. Support teammates across areas and propose process improvements. Track and replenish supplies; verify incoming materials. Tackle other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year in a manufacturing environment
  • Blueprint reading capability
  • Commitment to safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Sound judgment and planning to achieve goals
  • Ability to learn and operate equipment: power hand tools, forklifts, skyjacks, cranes, and precision measuring tools
  • Problem identification and resolution of routine issues
  • Comfort working with standard work instructions
  • Team-oriented, detail-focused, self-starter
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-task setting

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Fluency with hand tools: wrenches, sockets, hammers, tape measures, crimpers, cutters, steel banding
