What You Will Do You are a highly skilled mechanical maintenance employee who applies a broad level of process and mechanical/maintenance knowledge to maximize, and where possible improve, the efficiency of the overall production process while working autonomously under minimal supervision with the primary objective of safe production. Among these workers are machinists, heavy machinery mechanics, skilled automotive technicians, certified welders, pump rebuild mechanics and specialized maintenance mechanic personnel. In this role, you perform routine and non-routine maintenance activities, complete work orders, order parts, and maintain maintenance documentation. You repair, install, fabricate, rebuild, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on process equipment such as pumps, conveyors, dryers, gearboxes, and filters, including equipment lubrication. You will apply advanced skills in mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, bearings, basic metallurgy, conveyor systems, plumbing, alignment, machine shop practices, blueprints, schematics, and mobile equipment; operate small and large cranes using safe rigging practices. Follow and understand safety, environmental, and SOP requirements, participate in safety and environmental activities, and use plant and equipment correctly at all times. You also mentor or train other mechanical workers and perform additional duties as assigned based on business need.
