About The Position

Panther Life Sciences is pioneering a new class of skin health, beauty, and therapeutic products through our proprietary dissolvable microneedle array patch (MAP) platform. We believe that the skin, as the body’s most accessible and responsive organ, offers a transformative path to better health for all. We are seeking an Industrial Designer to join our Device Team and help define the look, feel, and experience of Panther’s MAP products, from form and packaging to the digital touchpoints that connect them. This role will be central to shaping the end-to-end user experience of Panther’s commercial products , translating precision into products that are intuitive, safe, and visually striking (“the Iphone of patches”). The person who will thrive in this role is someone who loves details, craftsmanship, and the pursuit of beautiful, functional, and precise design. You care deeply about the customer, how they first encounter the product, how it feels in their hand, and how seamlessly it fits into their life. You find joy in creating novel experiences that make people feel cared for, and you obsess over quality not because you have to, but because you cannot imagine doing anything less. You see design as storytelling, every curve, material, and surface reflecting purpose and emotion. For you, work and passion are one and the same. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product developers, and leadership to bring Panther’s design philosophy to life: clarity, material honesty, and elegance rooted in function and precision. Within your first 90 days, you will define user needs, conduct competitive benchmarking, develop early concepts, and create high-fidelity renderings and prototypes for both internal and external presentations. This is an opportunity to join a mission-driven company at the intersection of science, technology, and design, where every decision reflects a commitment to impact, quality, and human-centered innovation. This role will be based in New York City and will require occasional business travel as needed.
