About The Position

Miller’s Textile Services is currently hiring for an Industrial Cleaning Custodian to join our Wapakoneta, Ohio plant. This is a full time position working, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday, and 6:00 am to noon on Saturday. Your days off will be Sunday and Monday. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience cleaning in an industrial environment is preferred
Must have good time management skills
Must be able to stand for long periods
Must be able to climb, crouch, crawl, and get on knees to access equipment
Must not be afraid of heights
Must be capable of operating boom lift and forklift safely, prior experience preferred
Must have ability to comprehend and communicate in English

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain production areas: Use air blowing equipment such as air wands or blowers to remove lint and dirt from ceilings, railings, equipment, and floors
Operate equipment: Safely operate boom lifts and forklifts to reach high areas and ensure thorough cleaning
Vacuum and sweep: Collect and dispose of lint and dirt that has been blown down, ensuring a clean and safe working environment
Follow safety protocols: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Collaborate with team: Work closely with other team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
