Opportunity Highlights Starting Pay: $18.90/hr After 90 Days: $19.63/hr Operator Pay: $3.00/hr Shift Differential: $1.25/hr Shift: Rotating shift (36 hours one week, 48 hours the next) rotates between 1st (7am-7pm) 2nd (7pm-7am) Weekly Pay What will you do? Join Tradebe Environmental Services as an SDS Operator Trainee and get paid to learn critical systems that support environmental operations. Over one year, you’ll gain the experience needed to become a certified SDS Operator. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with equipment or machine operation experience seeking a stable, long-term career path.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; experience with industrial or mechanical equipment preferred
  • Interest in learning thermal desorption systems
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and on-site in a physical, hands-on environment
  • Commitment to following strict safety procedures
  • Basic computer/data entry skills and proficiency in English (read, write, understand)
  • Ability to walk, stand, kneel, and crawl
  • Ability to lift, reach, push, and pull

Responsibilities

  • Maintain EHS compliance and promote a safe, environmentally responsible workplace
  • Train on and operate the Solids Distillation System (SDS)
  • Monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot system controls and components
  • Log operating data, perform walkthroughs, and load/unload tankers while maintaining unit cleanliness
  • Support supervisors, follow safety protocols (LOTO, confined space, hot work), and complete certification after one year
