About The Position

Gordon Food Service is looking for a 3rd Shift Industrial Building Maintenance Technician. The maintenance team is crucial for keeping the organization running smoothly and ensuring customer success. As a maintenance mechanic, you will work hands-on with building schematics/blueprints, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems, general building maintenance, and hi-speed doors. The company emphasizes high standards for safety, stability, and training, providing a clean, organized parts room and heavier specialty tools. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED certificate
1-2 years experience in Industrial equipment made by Crown Lift trucks (e.g., Pallet Jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, Lift Trucks)
Machine repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education and training
Successful passing of drug screen and background check
Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs during your shift
Must have a high level of initiative
Must work safely on a consistent basis
Basic mechanical skills: Component identification
Basic mechanical skills: Proper, and safe, use of hand tools
Basic mechanical skills: Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance after being shown once
Basic electrical skills: Component identification
Basic electrical skills: Ability to use meter to check continuity
Basic electrical skills: Ability to wire 480V 3PH motor using simple wiring diagram
