Individual Placement - Visitor Services Participant
About The Position
The Visitor Services Position at Fort Niobrara NWR will assist with visitor service operations including managing the visitor center and all other public use facilities. The applicant will help coordinate a fee-recreation program, partner with the National Park Service and assist other refuges throughout the complex as needed. This SCA Position is authorized under the Public Land Corps Authority. All participants must be between the ages of 16 and 30, inclusive, or veterans age 35 or younger. Participants must also be a citizen or national of the United States or lawful permanent resident alien of the United States. Hours served can be applied toward the Public Land Corps (PLC) hiring authority.

Responsibilities
- Coordination of the public use areas: visitor center, hiking trails, canoe launch area, overlooks
- Maintenance of lawn and trails: mowing, trimming public use areas
- Assisting in a recreational fee program
