This position will work to manage invasive species in West Central Georgia. One member will be a team lead. This work will focus on managing high priority invasive plants. A special emphasis will be given to managing invasive species on state lands. The Georgia DNR will provide tools such as chainsaws, brush cutters, hand tools, ATV/UTVs, various herbicides and other supplies needed to conduct invasive species management work. The work will entail traveling to several managed state lands in southwest Georgia, allow the crew to explore many of the unique natural communities found in our state.
