About The Position
Menasha Corporation, a leader in the packaging industry, is searching for an Indirect Tax Analyst in our Neenah, WI location. Assist with monthly compliance of sales & use tax returns and assist with other tasks as assigned. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and some understanding or exposure to indirect taxes is beneficial but not necessary.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 0-2 years of experience in tax or corporate accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet compliance deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and business professionalism.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SAP and/or Vertex helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of sales & use tax reporting
- Prepare and file U.S. sales & use tax returns and Canadian GST/HST returns
- Prepare monthly sales/use tax account reconciliations
- Respond to notices from state taxing authorities
- Assist in compiling documentation for state audits
- Research sales & use issues
- Assist in various indirect tax projects
