Role Verify loan documentation received from dealers, input loan data in the system, fund the loans for the members and dealerships, and complete the file maintenance for each loan in the system. Major Duties and Responsibilities 30% Responsible for maintaining our relationship with existing and new dealers by using effective communication to build trust and cooperation with the purpose of successfully completing the loan. Resolve issues by finding creative ways to negotiate the completion of the loan that facilitates a smooth transition between dealer, credit union and member. 30% Review loan packets as they are received from dealers to determine that the packet complies with the company's original approval prior to funding. Complete and fund indirect loan packets within two business days after receiving the packet. Perform quality checks on indirect loan packets by verifying that applications and documents have been completed thoroughly, accurately and that they are properly signed by all who are obligated on the loan. Verify that all necessary documentation has been received from dealerships to fund contracts within the required time period and to protect our security interest on the collateral. 30% Completes pre-closing activities prior to loan funding to ensure accurate information and to mitigate risk. Ensure loan documentation follows standards established by federal, state, and government guidelines, as well as the policies and procedures of the Credit Union. Assists in identifying loan fraud and mitigating risk thus reducing the potential for loss. 5% Comply with all company policies, procedures, and service standards. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations. 5% All other job responsibilities as assigned by management.
