About The Position

The Direct Lending Processor provides exceptional service by maintaining knowledge of all products, services, and organizational policies and procedures. The role performs a variety of services for both internal and external members and lending functions via telephone, email, and internet. Must be able to work before or after hours, Saturdays and Holidays for meetings/training or as workload requires. Must participate in training annually or as required for BSA and the Privacy Act.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
1-2 years’ experience in a financial institution.
1-2 years’ sales experience.
Ability to identify and solve problems.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Intermediate computer skills including with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Organized with high attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and work at a moderate to rapid pace.
Ability to work independently and collaborate when needed.
Professional demeanor and appearance.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, friendly, and accurate service to internal and external members.
Identify and offer products and services that will improve our member’s financial life.
Maintain member confidentiality in all aspects of providing services to membership.
Perform member maintenance as required.
Communicate in a professionally and efficiently with all departments promoting synergy.
Deliver professional and efficient loan services focusing on individual needs.
Provide accurate and timely processing of loan applications in accordance with lending policies.
Prepare loan documentation and close files electronically.
Research and solve post funding issues.
Prepare valuation collateral using the appropriate methods.
Calculate income.
Review stipulations for authenticity.
Accountable for meeting production and sales goals.
Crosstrain in HELOC processing.
Analyze and problem solve.
Represent the credit union with professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
Uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions and responsibilities.
Represent and uphold the Achieva Brand Frame.
Support leadership initiatives that position the credit union as a top employer.
Perform other essential functions as needed or assigned.
Travel may be required on occasion.
Work flexible hours including evenings, Saturdays or holidays as needed to meet member and business demands.
