This posting is to fill multiple Income Maintenance Caseworker (IMC) II to North Carolina's Medicaid. This role is hybrid: partial work-from-home with occasional work in the office and this position is posted until filled. We will train you! Buncombe County Health and Human Services is looking for team members who are ready and willing to grow with us. Our outstanding training team is highly experienced and eager to contribute to your success. In this role you will receive several weeks of on-the-job training before working one-on-one with customers. This position makes a difference in people’s lives—what IMCs do matters. They are helping families and children have access medicaid or helping pregnant women, children and elderly individuals have access to medical care. Buncombe County is seeking Income Maintenance Caseworkers. This position offers a robust training program and a defined career development plan. If you've worked directly with customers as a bank teller, customer service representative, bookkeeper, payroll clerk, medical billing, paralegal, or other clerical experience this would be a great fit for you! Or, if you've been an IMC before, we'd love to have you join our team! Purpose of the position: The purpose of this position is to ensure all eligible individuals receive timely public assistance benefits by determining or re-determining eligibility of Buncombe County residents applying for public assistance across multiple Income Maintenance programs.
