The Inclusion Coordinator will partner with the Inclusion Team to implement firm-wide inclusion initiatives and programs. The Inclusion Coordinator will support inclusion efforts through firm-wide programming and training, and will also provide support to our Affinity groups, Inclusion team, Inclusion Committee, and other groups that make up the Inclusion Matrix of Leadership. Requirements

  • Knowledge of inclusion topics and trends, both generally and within the legal profession.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, including the ability to review work for spelling, grammar, and overall accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage daily tasks and long-term projects, prioritize effectively, and meet communicated deadlines.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across the firm.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple assignments, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality service while exercising sound independent judgment, tact, and discretion.
  • Strong client-service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and balance multiple competing priorities in a deadline driven environment.
  • Bachelor's degree; or any combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Minimum two (2) years of inclusion or related experience in a law firm or other professional services setting.
  • Experience organizing and synthesizing complex information and data into functional and relevant formats.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office primarily in Excel and PowerPoint beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Inclusion team
  • In collaboration with the Inclusion team, prepare and deliver data and communications to the Business Development team regarding inclusion initiatives for pitches, client surveys, and requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Collect, analyze, and monitor monthly firm-wide inclusion related data and reporting.
  • Support client and industry survey processes, including data collection, coordination with relevant teams and departments, and preparation of survey responses for internal review and submission.
  • Partner with the Recruiting and Marketing teams to develop and maintain inclusion-related collateral and branding materials, including brochures, internet and intranet content, one-pagers, and presentations.
  • Research and synthesize industry trends related to diversity and inclusion and share relevant insights with team members to inform planning and execution.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and communications for the Inclusion matrix of leadership, practice group leadership, and other firm leaders.
  • Collaborate with the Inclusion team on the planning, development, and execution of inclusion programs.
  • Support, coordinate, and participate in inclusion programs and events, both in person and virtually.
  • Coordinate with firm departments on inclusion-related programs, events, and communication.
  • Assist with team expense management, including tracking and accurately submitting expenses for team managers and the director.
